HOW TO TIE YOUR BELT

1A. This method is easier, but results in a small twist where the belt crosses in the back.

  • Locate the middle of the belt and place it just below your belly button.
  • Wrap both ends around your back and to the front, crossing them in the front just below your belly button. *The belt should now be wrapped around your waist two times, with two tails of equal length hanging down in front.
  • Proceed to step #2.

1B. This method is more difficult, but results in a smooth transition where the belt crosses in back.

  • Begin holding your belt behind you with a long tail in your left hand and a short tail in your right hand.
  • Pull the belt tight across your waist in back and bring your right hand around your waist counter clockwise to just below your belly button.
  • Bring your left hand across your waist in front and hold both sections of the belt in place just below your belly button with your left hand.
  • Use your right hand to continue wrapping the long tail clockwise around your waist to your back.
  • Reach behind with your left hand to continue wrapping the long tail clockwise around your waist to just below your belly button. *The belt should now be wrapped around your waist two times, with two tails of equal length hanging down in front.
  • Proceed to step #2.

2. Use your right hand to feed the top tail up under both loops of the belt so that it is next to your belly button. *The tail in your right hand should be pointed up towards the ceiling and the tail in your left hand should be pointed to the floor.

3. Fold your left hand over so that the tail is now pointed to your right.

4. Bring your right hand down so that the right tail lays over the left tail, leaving a square shaped hole.

5. Feed the top tail through the hole with your right hand and pull it through with your left hand.

6. Hold one tail in each hand and pull to the sides creating a nice knot.
