SCHOOL RULES & CLASS ETIQUETTEArrive promptly for class, showered and in a clean uniform. For your safety, and the safety of others, all jewelry must be removed before training starts. Protect your valuables. The school is not responsible for loss or theft of valuables. Remain calm and quiet while other classes are in session so that all students can hear. Show proper respect to the instructor, classmates, fellow martial artists, and all visitors. When sitting in class, sit with your legs crossed. Before asking a question, raise your hand and wait to be called on. Keep the training floor and the surrounding area clean at all times. Pay attention while the instructor is demonstrating. No talking! Learn the proper names for general commands, techniques and drills. Practice only those techniques that have been taught to you by an instructor. Do no try to skip ahead by watching higher belts. There will be no sparring without the permission and supervision of the instructor. Profanity, loss of temper, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. Student's will be introduced to and practice material required for testing in class from day one. They will be tested on the steady improvement they demonstrate stripe to stripe. Stripe and belt exams occur in class during the last week of each session. Have fun and train safely at all times! |
